Permanent annual appropriations.

3689. Permanent indefinite appropriations.

SEC. 3689

There are appropriated, out of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the purposes hereinafter specified, such sums as may be necessary for the same respectively; and such appropriations shall be deemed permanent annual appropriations.


EXECUTIVE.
Under the interior Department.

Payment of interest to North Carolina Cherokees:
To pay each member of every family of the Cherokee Nation of Indians that remained in the State of North Carolina at the time of the treaty of New Echota, May twenty-third, eighteen hundred and thirty-six, interest at the rate of six per centum per annum on a sum equal to fifty-three dollars and thirty-three cents for each individual member, as aforesaid.
