My Dear Mrs Burnham

      This is
evening I am lone in My
room all Paris Hill Young
folks depart down to
Bridgewater I shall have
to Scrawl to you with
tell about what I doing
last for Christmas last Wed
day in the morning
after Breakfast Mr Paul
he will harness horse
Two Seats first set
Miss Katie by me last
set Miss Carrie by Miss Cora
Wicks we go down to
Utica Girls buy Something
Christmas present I am

glad got new overcoat
about ten dollars returned
home for dark we have
very nice ride in the
Sleigh Friday I have so
much to do at Church
part of the day Sweeping
and getting ready to
tie the greens for trimming
it for Christmas The Cedar
branches are put in the
Cellar in the afternoon
to tie Cedar all finished
again I Shall have chop
mince pie meat but
there very pretty hard
Shell popcorn My hand
three times Sore I am
glad to get Christmas
present Mrs Wicks present
Towel to me Miss Ruth

went visit with me
last Tuesday I am going
down to Utica evening

Sunday School Lads and
Damsels prepare all taught
we go March but there

people in Church and
very large Christmas tree
all male and female
very glad to get nice

rejoice Singing nice music
and pray and thank
God To day in the
afternoon I returned home
I am glad to See Mrs
Susan Elizabeth Potter Wicks
Ruth and Miss Katie
Mrs spoke to me She said
what is the matter not
go Bridgewater and
I Say I have Enough
very Splendid time Just
now gone Mr Paul George
Birdsall and Mr Big Moccasins
together ride in the Sleigh
down to Bridgewater
I think very nice time
