My dear Mrs Burnham

      I received your
very nice letter I was very glad and
I thank you very much you I am very
joy my dear Mrs Burnham my mother
just the same I love you every day
I think I like much you very soon
again come see me I am very happy
I see you I shake both hands I am
very happy I think so no sick every
day I am very well he is good Mr Wicks
good to me I love him and Mrs Wicks
kind to me I am so glad little Ruth
love me I am very happy every morning
I get up I wash my face and hands
I am glad I brought milk into the
house I Sing and pray for God give
me a good heart I hoe potatoes

and plant corn very soon I come home
in house I wash my face and
hands I am glad nine oclock go to
school I study hard Bible Prayer Book
eleven oclock school is out I walk a
little while very soon I come home
in house Half past one oclock more
school Mr Wicks kind to me I am so
glad my good teacher I learn and
read and write and sing Half past
three oclock school is out I make bow
and arrows every night I sing and
pray I got a letter from Little Medicine
my dear Brother a long time three years
no see Brother I think now I get a
picture from my little Brother and
I got a picture and letter from Chey-
enne Agency picture I see very nice
picture I am so glad to hear good news
I am very happy Mr Wicks talk good
talk I good keep my head my heart
every day more and more little I learn
