long wait write to you

Your good letter of the 30-
March was received
As I always am I was
very glad indeed to
hear from you; I am
also very glad My Dear
white mother to see by
your letter and tell me
about that kind ladies
of All Saint Church
this barrel sent me.

me very happy that
our the great father must
have put it into
your heart So a good
many things send to me
and made us great joy
in my heart singing
and thank to God
and you. I am far
from you and have
never seen Your faces
You have given me
a good Gift and made
me very thankful. I wish
I could see you all
in my own eye and

shake hands with them
each one but I say
thank my kind friends
ever so much. I
visit the sick almost
every day, with prayers to
our lord Jesus Christ,
and read the Bible to
Indian, and tell about
history that he is the Son
of God. I am glad to
tell poor heathen people
^of that Blessed lord who
hast caused all Holy
Scriptures to be written
for our learning great
that we may in such
wise hear them read
mark learn and inwardly
digest them, that by
patience and comfort

may embrace and ever
Hold fast the blessed
hope of everlasting life
which thou hast given
us in our Saviour Jesus Christ All very
glad to hear them.
Perhaps some old mens
not want to hear me
because I say throw a-
way all images and repent

thank to him that only
one God in heaven.
I keep that work God
given to me to do
and for that reason
though I am an Indian
and you of a different

people yet your faith
is my faith and in
all the earth there are
many different races
of yet to all alike
God has given his one
Spirit, and one life,
and one faith and
one Saviour. You have
grown up knowing all
this and for this
reason though I am
far from you, If God
My father shall so
bless me and help
me and keep me, show me
